The 2019 NFL Draft has come and gone, the city of Nashville really showed out over the course of three days. People from all over the world traveled to our great city to see their favorite team pick hopefully the next big star. We were fortunate at D1 Highlights Prep Football News and Media to partake in all of the draft festivities that started on Wednesday for us at the NFL media luncheon. The opportunity we had to talk with some of the NFL network analysts about some of our middle Tennessee connections and where they may go in the draft was very insightful. We know now that Oregon star defensive back and former Overton high school here in Nashville player Ugo Amadi was drafted to the Seattle Seahawks in the fourth round pick 30. While former Vanderbilt University and Father Ryan by way of Hendersonville standout Joejuan Williams Will be taking his talents to the New England Patriots as he was drafted in the second round pick number 13. Brentwood Academy who now has several NFL players also added another in Dawson Knox out of  Ole Miss as he was drafted by the Buffalo Bills In the third round pick 33. A few other players of note that have middle Tennessee connections that also got picked up by NFL teams by way of undrafted free agency, Tyrel Dodson from Texas A&M and Centennial high school signed a contract with the Buffalo Bills, Kyle Phillips out of the University of Tennessee and former Hillsboro stand out signed a contract with the New York Jets, Emanuel Hall out of Missouri and also a former Centennial high school stand out signed with the Chicago Bears, Paul Adams who was a former Missouri offensive lineman and Christ Presbyterian Academy standout signed with the New York Giants.
