The 2019 regular season has come to an end for the Tennessee Titans, under the leadership of Head Coach in his second year Mike Vrabel has put together two 9-7 seasons. This year like last, it came down to a “win and were in” game. The difference this season is we are going to the playoffs after a dominant week 17 performance in Houston over the Texans.

This season started out so promising back in the early summer with new free agents coming in and some good draft picks to compete. Simmons, Brown, Hooker, Walker, and Long Jr. have all contributed throughout the season with the biggest surprise being AJ Brown and him potentially winning rookie of the year honors. His 50+ catches and 1000-yard season is the first in the Tennessee Titans organization since 2013, last done by Kendall Wright.  Simmons who was placed on IR to start the season came back mid-season and was an absolute force on the defensive line gives the fan base a sense of comfort knowing we have Big Jeff for the foreseeable future. Hooker, Walker, and Long Jr. also contributed throughout the season when their time was called. The acquisitions of wide receiver Adam Humphries, offensive lineman Roger Saffold, and the best backup quarterback we have had in 10 years with Ryan Tannehill helped shape this season after a dismal 2-4 start. Personally, Tannehill should win comeback player of the year because of what he has done for himself and this organization by breathing light into a dark situation after Marcus Mariota, unfortunately, had regressed.

The journey to the Super Bowl starts up next week as the Titans head off to Foxborough to battle with the Goat and the New England Patriots. Will this be the start to an end of a dynasty when the Titans play? We are at D1highlights believe that all good things must come to an end and in this case with the leadership of Coach Mike Vrabel, Ryan Tannehill with his assortment of weapons and playmakers in addition to our stout defense this could be the beginning of a shift in power in the AFC.
