Zion Logue and the Lebanon Blue Devils Resurgence

Zion Logue

With a name like Zion you better be able to knock some people around on the football field! From watching Zion over the past year or so we have determined that he can definitely hold his own on the field. We see Zion as one of the leading forces behind the Lebanon Blue Devils resurgence into a winning football program. The Blue Devils and Coach Gentry made a playoff appearance last fall for the first time in ten years…and yes we are discounting the appearance made in 2015 on a 3-7 season record.

Being a Blue Devil runs in the family. Zion bleeds Blue and White like his father and three uncles did before him did. He fits the mold, standing 6’5″ 270 lbs., of a professional tight end! As a college recruiter I’d see Zion as the ultimate plug and play TE/DE. With a little bit of dedication at the next level he will be a definite super star.  Zion is carrying around 15 total college scholarship offers to date. The University of Tennessee Chattanooga was the first to offer Zion a chance to play collegiate football and here recently Purdue University was the latest.

Zion trains with Coach Chavez Jobe and Coach Mo Thompson of On Top Athletics (OTA).Between them and the new found swagger that Coach Gentry has brought to the Lebanon football program, we believe that Zion is setup for nothing but success. We asked Zion which game he looked forward to the most this year, knowing that it more than likely would be the blue Devils matchup with The Golden Bears of Mt. Juliet. Sure enough this is the game that Zion is looking to capitalize on before he graduates stating that “WE ARE GOING TO BEAT MT, JULIET”. With D.C. and I being proud Mt. Juliet Alumni we decided to add a little fuel to the fire. So, with that said, if Zion Logue and the Lebanon Blue Devils defeat the Golden Bears in 2018 then we (D.C. and Evan) will publicly were Lebanon Blue Devil apparel on our podcast!
